Kangaroo dominance doesn’t bring any goals
DareiosIIIKangaroos showed off a silky brand of football against Sezimovo Ústí
The match was clearly in hands of Bohemians from the beginning and the Kangaroos didn’t let the opponent create any big chances. The lively midfielders were supporting the attackers who had lots of chances and it was through luck alone that Sezimovo Ústí didn’t concede.
The first two big chances came from Vyhnal and the second one was almost a goal but for a miraculous save from the Ústí keeper. Then it was Bartek, later Hartig, who got a nice touch ball from Vyhnal and had a shot close to the post. But again, nothing surprised the goalkeeper of Sezimovo Ústí. Borek was the next one to shoot, with the scores remaining level. The closest thing to a goal was a header from Hartig.
More chances followed for Bartek, Vyhnal and Abraham. The Kangaroos went for a half time tea with the scoreboard remaining at 0:0. Some advice from coach Medynský and the second act was ready to start.
After the change of sides Sezimovo Ústí started offensively, but goalkeeper Marek was ready and didn’t make any mistake. Marek Nikl appeared in a game for the first time after a long break he had to take to recover.
The match was tied and most of the game was played in the middle third of pitch. Petr Nerad, the youth player, also appeared in the game and the opponent was surprised how well and precisely he passed the ball to others. After one of those passes Bartek went to the penalty box and was taken down and the referee Kovařík pointed right at the penalty spot.
It was Kaufman who decided to take it but the goalkeeper chose the right side where to jump and caught it. Then it was Martin Nešpor who failed to find the target.
A few minutes before the end, Bohemians fans finally got what they wanted. Růžička scored after the corner but then it was the assistant who raised his flag showing he was offside.
The opponent didn’t have a better chance during the whole match, mostly just a glimpses of chances which didn’t pose any problem for both Bohemians keepers, Radek Sňozík and Václav Marek.
After a match full of chances Bohemians went to warm down in the changing rooms. Final score 0:0
